It was my everyday view out my kitchen window, but today was different.
The allure of my morning cup of Twinings English Breakfast tea beckoned me into my farmhouse kitchen. In my half-awake state, I rounded the corner and stopped in my tracks. My everyday objects were awash in a pink glow from the morning sunrise, the kind of painted sky that takes your breath away.
There’s something about seeing the old in a new way that promises a fresh perspective and new beginnings. A new year, a new day to keep the old and embrace the possibilities; the hope of what can be, what a gift.
