Canal Market District Farmers Market

The Canal Market District is rooted in history, culture, and local bounty. The market is located at the historic Ohio Canal open-air pavilion in downtown Newark, Ohio. The atmosphere is full of energy and excitement, with over 20,000 annual shoppers chatting with farmers, meeting artisans, and becoming an active part of the community.
The Canal Market District farmers market operates every Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, May through October, and every Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, June through September. We’re open rain or shine because of our open-air covered pavilion.
