United Way of Licking County Hosts Community Conversations on Homelessness and Housing
Public forum to address critical issues surrounding homelessness and the need for attainable housing for all
United Way of Licking County is convening the community for an open dialogue on the growing challenges of homelessness and attainable housing. This Community Conversations event will take place on October 29th at 6:00 PM in Room 126 of the John L. and Christine Warner Center at Central Ohio Technical College/The Ohio State University, located at 1219 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055.
The forum will feature local experts who will provide valuable insights into the root causes of homelessness and explore potential solutions to address the urgent need for attainable housing in Licking County. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and ask questions to deepen their understanding of these critical issues.
“Homelessness is a growing concern in our community, and attainable housing is essential to the well-being of so many individuals and families,” said Deb Dingus, Executive Director of United Way of Licking County. “This forum is designed to bring together residents, community leaders, and local organizations to foster collaboration and identify sustainable solutions.”
The event is free, but registration is required as space is limited. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
