
Hebron Village Council meeting

The Village of Hebron is a Statutory Village. Council is the legislative body, comprised of six members elected by Village residents. The Council President is then elected by the members of Council. Each Councilmember serves for a term of four years, staggered. Council duties include voting on legislation, establishing the compensation of Village officials and employees, appropriating funds, approving projects, contracts and tax levies, facilitating economic development, and other municipal purposes.
Council meets each year in early January to organize. Council then meets in regular Council Meeting sessions on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m to adopt legislation and vote on issues.
