Knox County Indivisible Town Hall on issues facing veterans and the broader community
Knox Co OH Indivisible is hosting a Town Hall on Saturday, August 23, 2-4pm, in Mount Vernon. Representative Troy Balderson, OH-12, was invited to speak at our Town Hall, but he declined. Imagine that!

Undeterred, we are proceeding with the event, which will highlight the concerns of veterans and citizens. We are excited to share that Glouster-native Jerrad Christian and former Team Rubicon President Ken Harbaugh will be our guest speakers. Both Christian and Harbaugh are military veterans and former candidates for U.S. Congress in districts that included Knox. In addition, Marine Corps veteran Mason Blankenship will speak. Blankenship is affiliated with Save a Warrior, a group that provides resources for active duty military, returning veterans, and first responders suffering from PTSD.
Audience members will be encouraged to submit questions in advance, especially those that they would have asked Rep. Balderson if he planned to attend. Closer to the event, we will send details on how to submit questions.
Please note that seating is limited and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We do encourage Knox County residents to register as early as possible. To accommodate those who can’t attend in person, we will be streaming the event live on Facebook. The link to the streaming event will be available closer to the event.
