Steps of Change – Walk a mile in my shoes

Steps of Change is our annual fundraiser for Newark Homeless Outreach, a project of OhioCAN. Newark Homeless Outreach strives to embrace, educate, and empower those whose lives have been impacted by homelessness, poverty, and/or addiction. We currently serve approximately 90-150 people each week with food, clothing, medical supplies, hygiene, and more. This event will be fun for all with a Memory walk (Stroller and pet friendly) to raise awareness to the unsheltered population and those lives lost to addiction in Licking County, OH. If you have lost a loved one to the disease of addiction, you may bring a pair of shoes for the memorial on the courthouse steps. Event to include speakers, music, bounce house, appearance by a disney character, resources, raffles and many other events for the children.

Feel free to bring a pair of shoes to represent the unsheltered or a loved one that has died to the disease of addiction.
