Each week, The Reporting Project will bring you a roundup of high school football scores from Licking County teams. Here’s how our teams performed under the lights this past Friday.
Five Licking County teams made it into the first round of playoffs. Licking Valley had a bye. There were some exciting contests, perhaps the most was between the Blue Aces of Granville and the Generals of Sheridan. A game-winning 35-yard field goal by Ace kicker Bode Shopes capped a matchup between two fierce competitors. The Aces move on to face Bishop Watterson.
