On Saturday, June 29, yard sales will take over the village of Granville during the annual Great Granville Garage Sale.
While treasure hunters scavenge through more than 50 registered yard sales in the village, attendees will have the opportunity to help raise money for the Licking County Coalition for Housing, which operates the massive garage sale event.
The coalition, a social services organization that helps people experiencing homelessness in Licking County, took over managing the event from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in 2016.
The garage sale is one of their annual fundraising events.
The official booth will be located at Opera House Park at 118 S Main St. in Granville. There, maps will be available and the organization will sell drinks and t-shirts between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., though the hours of operation for each sale vary.
The LCCH raised money through registration fees. It cost $25 dollars to register a personal garage sale, $45 for a booth at Opera House Park and $35 for a spot at the Granville Farmers Market, which will be open at Raccoon Valley Park from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
The garage sale will be happening rain or shine. More information and a digital map with addresses and times can be found on the LCCH website.
