Candidates for Granville village and township offices will talk about their positions on local issues during a forum on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 6-9 p.m.

The forum is being co-hosted by the League of Women Voters of Licking County, Granville Chamber Alliance, and Denison University’s Community Leadership and Involvement Center. To view the forum live, use this link: https://denison.zoom.us/j/88165946381 

Candidates for Granville Township trustee positions will talk at 6 p.m., and candidates for village council will speak at 7 p.m. It won’t be a debate, but candidates will each have the opportunity to answer questions submitted by local residents.

After Oct. 8, a recording of the forum will be available for viewing on the League of Women Voters website (https://www.lwvlickingcounty.org) and the group’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580074847241).

Election Day is Nov. 4. Early voting will be available at the election board office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through Oct. 24, except on Monday, Oct. 13, which is a federal holiday. Early voting hours will be extended after that. Here are the hours:
Monday, Oct. 27: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Tuesday, Oct. 28: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Oct. 31: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 1: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 2: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
