Volunteer Day.
Volunteers aged 16 and up are needed for headstone cleaning in Granville’s historic graveyard, the Old Colony Burying Ground on South Main Street, on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Help conserve our Village’s historic heritage and make a difference with a historic headstone in only an hour or two. No special skills are required, but participants who are new to this work must attend a mini-training session at 9:00 a.m. We provide brushes, cleaning agents, etc. Participants may want to bring their own work gloves.
