Want to stay up-to-date on the grassroots journalism we’re doing here at The Reporting Project?

If you’re looking for the he-said-she-said, THIS alligator broke into THIS Florida shop and you won’t believe what happened next, or the latest on Elon Musk, we may not be the best fit.

But if you’re hoping to learn about our shared community and your neighbors, to find a cool event to take your family and friends to next weekend, or to get the latest intel on Intel? We’ve got you covered.

Though we officially launched The Reporting Project in 2020, we’re growing legs, adding staff and publishing more than ever. That’s significant, particularly as newsrooms across the country cut staff or outright disappear, according to the latest State of Local News report published by Northwestern University’s Local News Initiative.

Every Thursday, we’ll send out a weekly roundup with the latest news from the region, what our staff reporters are reading and the upcoming local government meeting you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT miss.

We’re looking forward to sharing our work with you.
