Pataskala Cookie Walk

December 2, 2023

A big part of what makes the Pataskala Cookie Walk so special is all the free activities, character experiences and live entertainment.
Here is a sampling of what to expect this year:
There will be an Opening Ceremony including a Wreath Laying at the Veterans Memorial with Pataskala American Legion Auxiliary Unit 107.
There will be lots of characters throughout the area so bring your cameras including (not limited to): The Grinch, Santa, Spiderman, Elves, Buddy the Elf, Leo the Lion, Gingerbread Man, the Abominable Snowman, and Elf on the Shelf.
Stop by Overflow International (open to both routes) for those favorite characters and the Memory Tree. Anyone can bring an ornament to hang on the tree or put a loved ones name on a provided ornament. This is a great way to bring your lost loved ones along with you to this memorable day.
There will be lots of live musical performances including Liberty Christian Academy Students, Watkins Memorial High School Choir Students, Scioto Valley Chorus, and Full Gospel Sons Church of God Choir.
There will be a Live Nativity with live animals open to both routes by the wonderful volunteers from Pataskala Grace Church.
There will be FREE Hot Chocolate and Coffee inside the Licking Memorial Health Systems Tent at Veterans Green. Also Tri-Village Christian Church will be providing free ornament crafts inside the tent during the event.
The Cookie Walk will wind down with a 5:45 special Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Pataskala OH Rotary Club at the Gazebo. Some Irish Dancers will perform for the crowd waiting for the parade.
Don’t forget the amazing, spectacular, inspiring 2023 Pataskala Lions Lighted Christmas Parade which starts at 6pm after the Cookie Walk. Prepare to be dazzled! The Pataskala Lions Club will be passing out a special surprise to those who stay in the downtown area for the parade (while they last).
After the parade, Santa will return to the Gazebo for visits and pictures with kids.
