Puppet Poets Perform

Get ready for a blast of creativity at the “Puppet Poets Perform” extravaganza, hosted by the Granville Public Library at the Granville Center for the Arts! This event is a fantastical fusion of poetry and puppetry for students in grades 3 to 6. Bring your original poem or a cherished favorite, and team up with a charismatic puppet to bring your words to life! A whole crew of puppets awaits to be your partners in rhyme. Registration is not required. Just drop in and share your work with the help of one of the many puppets available for you to use during your performance.
Though the stage is set for young poets, the audience is open to all ages! Join us for an afternoon of poems, puppets, and complementary snacks and refreshments.
Want to prepare before your big performance? The Granville Public Library is hosting a “Puppet Poets Program Prep and Practice” session on Friday, April 25, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the library community room. This prep and practice session is optional but a great way to rehearse before Sunday’s big show. Join us for an unforgettable adventure where poetry meets puppetry in a spectacular showcase of your talent!
